Travel Management Accountant

About the role:

Are you an experience Management Accountant with a passion for data-driven decision-making and a commitment to delivering high quality results?

We are seeking a dynamic Travel Management Accountant to take ownership of financial reporting of our Travel division. In this key role, you will lead the production of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory audit deliverables, and in-depth margin analysis. You’ll also provide insightful KPI reporting and trend analysis to support business strategy.

As part of this role, your responsibilities will include:
• Producing financial reporting for the Travel division including, but not limited to, management accounts, management information and balance sheet reconciliation
• Working with other areas of Finance to support the financial analysis (profitability, working capital etc) of the various Travel sales channels
• Developing and improving financial processes, procedures and risk management to ensure the control environment is robust and in line with professional standards
• Preparing and submitting statutory year end and half year audit documentation
• Identifying, communicating and mitigating all risks to accounting and reporting controls
• Providing financial evaluation to support the process of delivering appropriate bonds, licenses and banking facilities

This role is part of a team based from our Head Office in Warwick, with a mix of working from home and in the office, you will need to be able to travel into the office on certain days.

Who are we looking for?

To be a successful candidate for this role you will need:

• You will be an experienced Management Accountant with a track record of delivering multiple tasks at quality and to tight deadlines

• Adept at handling large volumes of data, and enjoys using data to support analysis and decision making
• Experience of the Travel & Leisure sector desired but not essential
• Strong customer focus and a commitment to quality and service
