As a Head of Integration, you will be responsible for:
• Lead & create integrated planning in support of Travel & Leisure strategy across T&L teams. Manage T&L calendar, proactively reviewing the short, medium & long term and prompting action in a timely manner . Proactively plan and lead annual planning process and subsequent refreshes, ensuring process, inputs & outputs are available in a timely manner.
• Provide visibility of relevant internal, external and MCC wide activities & dates, highlighting potential issues. Recommend solutions to facilitate trade-offs, manage resourcing and mitigate conflicting activities. Work collaboratively with other parts of the Society to coordinate initiatives & requirements as appropriate
• Drive Member-focus throughout activity, ensuring clear plans and alignment with MCC Membership strategy across all appropriate T&L activity. Provide clear visibility of the integrated Member plan across T&L
• Lead department-wide input, responses and preparedness for key Society processes and timelines (eg Finance Gov, strategy days, AGM) Work with Society stakeholders to deliver actions/ matters impacting across the whole T&L team (eg Risk,)
• Lead programme management, ensuring T&L projects are suitably resourced, robustly managed and appropriately governed. Establish and manage T&L programme governance structure & management and interfaces with Society wide processes.
• Stay up to date & apply programme management tools & techniques best practise. Instil a culture of delivery to deadlines
• Provide objective programme assurance assessment of major transformation programmes and independently assess readiness for transition from Development into BAU. Recommend corrective actions required and ensure delivery
• Lead 360 insight & analytics for T&L, drawing on multiple data sources (eg financial, customer, market) to provide regular insights and bespoke analysis of strategic & tactical issues/ opportunities. Proactively provide insight across T&L and support T&L team on a reactive basis. Ensure regular processes are aligned to broader trading, performance and planning timelines
• Lead creation and management of events catalogue to provide context for performance levels. Build history and maintain on a live basis.
• Proactively identify future patterns on the basis of historic events (eg. Easter moves so what impact on baseline)
• Lead development of Travel community activity in support of Travel and Sustainability strategies. Work with T&L team to integrate activity into Travel channels, commercial, CoHo and omnichannel development activity.
• Lead delivery of T&L-wide community initiatives. Collaborate with internal community team and external community partners, providing clear visibility of the integrated Community plan cross T&L
• Lead management of trade bodies relationships, ensuring the team derive value from resources, participation in policy groups and working relationships. Provide appropriate input to policy discussions to advance our agenda
• Lead identification and management of Risk and Compliance activities within T&L. Ensure risk management processes and activities are appropriately planned and delivered on time. Lead management & delivery of Audit actions to deadlines
• Lead planning and delivery of T&L wide engagement and communications (eg Monday comms, CO drop-ins, forums)
• Lead colleague engagement across Integration team, ensuring improvement & development plans are in place & actioned.
• Build & lead a high performing team. Coach and develop the Integration Senior Management Team, empowering and holding them to account, continually reviewing performance against objectives, targets, steering wheel measures and personal development objectives.
• Support development of T&L Senior Management Team, including talent management and leadership development.
• Work collaboratively within Travel & Leisure Leadership Team and across the Society in the best interests of our members. Identify synergy opportunities with other parts of Midcounties (eg Food)
• Ensure strong Financial controls and adherence to governance, risk & compliance, legal and regulatory controls. Ensure all activity is delivered in a safe and timely manner.
