As a Tour Operator Content and Ecommerce Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Manage design & development of our online capability
• Merchandise & optimise online content to acquire, engage & convert customers
• Plan & develop integrated, multi-channel consumer-facing, always on, campaign & tactical marketing content & offers (including partnership & direct response selling).
• Provide assets for use by all sales channels including VTEs
• Work with Travel marketing to ensure integration of Coop Holidays messaging in all activities
• Work with our central Membership and Insight team to engage and convert Members to Coop Holidays
• Track & analyse campaign performance and online performance
• Business owner for Coop Holidays ecommerce Work with external developers to update and improve the commercial and operational online. Full responsibility as business owner for managing the Co-op Holidays website development agenda
• Optimise online merchandising to drive engagement & conversion. Ensure a seamless customer journey from lead generation activity to deliver Trading targets
• Developing the content, digital & marketing plan for the Coop Holidays in line with objectives
• Creation and publication of all content material in line with marketing plans to optimise acquisition & conversion in all channels, working closely with Travel channels marketing team, VTEs and Society Insight Team Use Google Analytics and other analytical programs (i.e. Moz, SEMRush. Google Search Console) to deliver key performance reports on a regular basis and assess performance in the context of the broader travel market
• Execute tests, collect and analyse data, identify trends and insights from the B2B and B2C websites
• Budget allocation as per planning, monitoring campaign costs & ensuring ROI
• Work with Coop Holidays’ Product Sales Managers to identify opportunities for growth by working in partnership with the commercial team, 3rd party suppliers and Coop Holidays to produce and market new travel products, while maintaining successful long-term relationships with existing suppliers
• Adopt a member-first mentality and use customer-engagement metrics to create outstanding content, supporting marketing in digital campaign activity
• Work with Membership team to step-change levels of member engagement and purchase of Co-op Holidays
• Source (inhouse or externally), write and publish product content
• Work in a team focused on a B2B and B2C Omni channel approach across retail, digital and call centre
• Working with other heads and managers to ensure successful delivery and communication of travel offers
